1 Arrival 

2 Canelli, sparkling wine and Alba

First hiking tour through ancient castles and vineyards to the old town of Canelli. Stop at the place of birth of the first Asti sparkling wine, which has been produced here for over 150 years. Visit to a traditional winery featuring the characteristic underground cathedral and a wine tasting. In the afternoon a visit to Alba, the city of the white truffle.

3 The Langhe Shire with a wine tasting 

A must-do hike to the centre of the famous wine region with its typical vineyards. The trail from Monforte to Barolo affords breath-taking views onto the surrounding hills. Relaxing break in the picturesque old town and possibility to visit the unique WiMu wine museum. The day ends at a winery for a wine tasting.

4 Barbaresco, Neive and truffle hunt

Today’s hike starts in Barbaresco, a nice town whose name is linked to a fine wine, and continues through vineyards and cherry trees in a small valley. Scenic stop at an amazing viewpoint with the possibility to climb on to a half-barrel-shaped bench and admire the beauty of the landscape. Passing poplars and hazelnuts woods, the tour ends in Neive; a stroll through the village’s narrow streets, winding in circles around the ancient castle, concludes the visit.In the afternoon, a stop at a farmhouse for a truffle hunt, followed by a tasting of local products paired with wines of the region.
