A stop en route offers the chance to appreciate one of the region’s most distinctive flavors. The return is made via the motorway.

3. Pompeii and Naples - Overnight in the Salerno area
The morning is devoted to Pompeii, where the remarkably preserved excavations provide insight into daily life in ancient Roman society. Streets, villas, and public spaces illustrate the organization, culture, and customs of a city frozen in time. In the afternoon, the itinerary moves to Naples, the vibrant capital of Campania. The city is characterized by its historic center, lively piazzas, and a unique charm that has inspired visitors for centuries, offering a blend of culture, cuisine, and atmosphere.

4. Matera and transfer to Puglia - Overnight in the Ostuni area
The journey continues toward the heel of Italy, with a stop in Matera, known as the city of caves and a former European Capital of Culture. The visit highlights the architecture, history, and cultural significance of this extraordinary city before continuing to the Ostuni area in Puglia.

5. Alberobello, Ostuni and olive oil - Overnight in the Ostuni area
The morning visit focuses on Alberobello, famous for its trulli—small conical-roofed houses that give the town a fairytale-like atmosphere. Following this, a stop at a local olive oil mill provides insight into traditional production methods, along with a tasting of the region’s celebrated golden oil. In the afternoon, the itinerary includes Ostuni, the “White City,” perched above the Adriatic Sea, with its winding streets, whitewashed buildings, and scenic views reflecting the city’s historic and architectural charm.
