Programme and inclusions
1 Arrival
Arrival in Venice and transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to rest or enjoy the first impressions of the lagoon city.
1 x boat transfer for passengers and one piece of luggage per person from the Tronchetto parking area to the nearest landing stage (approx. 150 m from the hotel)
2 Venice City Tour
The day is dedicated to exploring Venice’s artistic and architectural heritage. The programme includes the Doge’s Palace, former residence of the Doge and seat of the Venetian government. With its blend of structural and decorative elements, the palace stands as a remarkable example of Gothic art. The route continues past the Bridge of Sighs, once connecting the palace’s courtrooms with the old prison, offering prisoners a final glimpse of the canal and the outside world.
At St. Mark’s Square, surrounded by grand historic buildings on three sides, the view opens toward the lagoon. The Basilica of St. Mark, with its five domes, marble façade, statues, and mosaics, together with the Campanile, elegant cafés, and bronze lions, forms one of the most celebrated ensembles in Europe. The itinerary also includes the Rialto Bridge, among the oldest in Venice, and the Grand Canal, the city’s principal waterway animated by gondolas and vaporetti.
