Location: a family run property since 1949 this hotel enjoys an excellent locaiton right on the beach yet still in the heart of the beach resort of Milano Marittima

5 Cervia and salt pans

The city of Cervia has a long tradition of producing salt. The salt warehouses are located on the saltpan canal. On the right bank, near the Darsena warehouse, stands the stunning “Fontana del Tappeto sospeso” (Fountain of the Flying Carpet), a remarkable mosaic fountain. Boat trip around the salt pans, where, depending on the season, a wide variety of birdlife can be observed, including flamingos.
