A MAGICAL EVENING OF INSPIRING MUSIC
ITINERARY
Day 1 – Arrival
Transfer by private coach to the hotel in the late afternoon and check-in.
Day 2 – The Andrea Bocelli event
Breakfast at the hotel rest of the Morning at leisure and Lunch at leisure! Leave Montecatini in the afternoon for the Tuscan countryside, where a historic estate awaits you to sample an extensive range of local products. The tasting will fuel you with the right energy to then enjoy the main event: the Andrea Bocelli performance at the Theater of Silence. The innovative project, established in 2006, unites art and culture with its open-air amphitheatre in the heart of the Tuscan hills, near Bocelli’s hometown of Lajatico. The theatre draws its name from the fact that it hosts just one concert each summer, before falling silent for the rest of the year. The event enables the extraordinary opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Tuscan countryside while listening to Bocelli’s voice live. Please note that guests must do a couple of kilometres walking to reach the stage and that they will return to their hotels very late, following the event.
Day 3 – Florence
After breakfast reach the Montecatini rail station on foot/or on your own bus and take the local train to Florence: the capital of Tuscany. This art and cultural metropolis is a “must” for all travellers to Tuscany. The Cathedral of Florence dominates the cityscape and together with its Campanile and baptistery forms one of the most magnificent works of architectural art on earth. Visit the most famous sights of the historic district on a guided city tour (entrance tickets can be procured, upon request). Following the tour enjoy some free time to admire the jewellery shops on the Ponte Vecchio or sip an espresso before returning to the hotel.
Day 4 – Lunch near Lucca and visit
Morning at leisure to recover from the late night. Around noon take your coach to the surrounding hill and enjoy a typical lunch before reaching Lucca to discover the city with a pleasant walking tour. Lucca, also known as the city of 100 churches, is the birthplace of Puccini and harbours many interesting sights, including the San Marino Cathedral. With the tour you will get to know the impressive monuments of this city, which is also known as the open-air museum of Tuscany.
Day 5 – Departure
All categories of concert tickets can be booked through Michelangelo!
