 Day 2: Lake Garda - Gardone Riviera and Valeggio sul Mincio
Heller Garden and Sigurtà Park
In Gardone Riviera we will visit the famous Heller Garden created by the Austrian artist Andre’ Heller;
a hundred-year-old paradise of plants, many of which are said to have magical powers: sessile oaks, pines, cypresses, magnolias and yew trees, in whose shadows bamboo-plants, ferns and moss cushions evoke nature's spirits. The combination of plants and small statues from India and Morocco surround the artist’s Venetian-style villa and transmit meditative vibes and instill silence. In the afternoon we will continue to the Sigurtà Park in Valeggio sul Mincio, south of Lake Garda. 600.000 sq. m. of sheer delights of nature! Amongst the attractions are the five seasons of flowers- tulips, roses, iris, asters, and water lilies- the great lawn, and a total of eighteen ponds with tropical fish. This is both a place of fun and peace, spread over a vast area. The park is considered to be one of the most beautiful nature parks in the world.

Day3: Verona
Discovering Verona and the Giusti Garden
Shakespeare's drama “Romeo and Juliet”“ made Verona the capital of love but the city offers also one of the most beautiful Renaissance Gardens in Italy, the Giusti Garden. Together with our guide we will discover this garden which is rightfully considered a national monument with an unique atmosphere, thanks to its high cypresses, statues, marble art crafts from different timeframes, the fountains with their fascinating water-games and the beautiful ponds.

Today we will travel to the famous wine-area of Franciacorta where we will discover ancient monasteries and castles in an unspoilt hilly landscape. We will visit the gardens of Quistini Castle, a 1500-year-old country villa. Walking through the wonderful gardens of tulips and hydrangeas we will discover a collection of medical herbs and an old fruit garden. In the afternoon, we head back to Lake Garda and board a boat to the private Island of Garda, at present owned by the noble family Cavazza who, at the end of the 19th century, built a magnificent palace surrounded by a park with exotic plants.

Day 5: Padua and the River Brenta
Padua, River Brenta and the Villa Pisani with its park
If we were living in the Middle Ages the chance of meeting important personalities such as Albert Magnum, Galileo Galilei and Copernico would be high today as all of them lived in Padua. During the tour of Padua your guide will show us the main sights: the Basilica of Saint Anthony, the old-town with its University built in 1222, as well as the main square, one of the largest in Europe. Between Padua and Venice, sumptuous villas were built as summer residences for the rich patriarchs along the River Brenta. Here we will visit one of the most beautiful Venetian villas, Villa Pisani.
