Arrival at Naples Airport and transfer to your hotel in the Isernia area

2.Isernia & Agnone with visit to cheese producer and bell foundry
This morning we explore Isernia on a guided tour, including a visit to the National Palaeolithic Museum which houses some of Europe’s most important discoveries.
We continue to Agnone, famous for its quality cheese and stop at a local producer’s for a tasting.
We round off the day with a visit to the world’s oldest family-owned bell foundry which still makes church bells for the Vatican to this day.

3.Campobasso with wine tasting
Today we head off to Campobasso, Molise’s regional capital, and see the Monforte Castle which sits high above the Old Town. Campobasso is famous for the Sannitico Museum, housing weapons, armour and sculptures from local archaeological sites, as well as its attractive 13th Century churches and delightfully narrow streets.
The Molise region boasts around 8,000 hectares of vineyards and in the afternoon we stop at a lovely winery for a visit and to sample of the local wines accompanied by tasty delicacies.

4.Transfer to the Salerno area with visit to Mt Vesuvio and Pompeii - Hotel Change
After breakfast we leave Molise behind us and head to the Campania region.
We stop at the towering volcano of Mt. Vesuvius, which dominates the Bay of Naples, and walk up to the crater. We continue to Pompeii, home to the world famous excavations-site. A walk through the impressive ruins here gives us an insight into day to day life of the Ancient Romans before we depart for our hotel in the Salerno area.

5.Amalfi Coast
Today we enjoy a drive along one of the world’s most beautiful coastal roads. We explore Amalfi, and discover its main attractions including the Cathedral.
During the day we stop to taste Limoncello, the famous lemon liqueur produced by using the intense aroma of locally grown lemon rind.

6.Transfer to the Matera area with visit to the town - Hotel Change
The sight of the so-called Sassi of Matera always astonishes first time visitors. This is one of the most unique and spectacular cities in Italy. The city is a series of caves, some dating back to prehistoric times, cut into the limestone face and teetering on a ravine. Dwellings, monasteries and churches were all constructed in this way and the stone takes on pastel shades at sunset. We enjoy a guided tour of the town before checking in to our hotel in the Matera area.

7.Transfer to Ostuni with visit to Alberobello, Martina Franca and an olive mill - Hotel Change
On our journey to the Ostuni area we visit the town of Alberobello and see its famous "Trulli". These unique circular shepherds’ and farmers’ dwellings with their stunning white washed walls and conical black tiled roofs present a stunning townscape.
We continue to Martina Franca and stop at an oil mill to discover the secrets of the tasty Apulian olive oil, before proceeding to our hotel.

8.Lecce and Gallipoli
After breakfast we depart to Lecce, known as the Florence of the south, for a guided tour of its Baroque centre and sample one of its famously delicious pastries. The old town of Gallipoli is situated on an island connected to the mainland by an arched bridge dating from the 17th century and is characterized by a mixture of buildings that date from several different epoques and cultures.

9.From Apulia to the area of Naples with visit to Bari & Andria with burrata tasting - Hotel Change
Today we depart from the ‘‘Heel of Italy“ and head across the south of the country back to the area of Naples. We visit Bari on our journey and marvel at the splendid, picturesque architecture there. The most important monument is the Basilica of San Nicolò which houses the remains of St. Nicholas. Another jewel of the city, although less famous than the first one, is the Cathedral of San Sabino. We continue to Andria and stop to visit a burrata cheese producer and enjoy a tasting.

10.Naples and pizza-making class
