Day 1: Arrival at Lake Garda
Day 2: Boat ride and hiking through beautiful Limone
Departing from either Torbole or Riva del Garda we will make our way across the lake to the village of Limone. We start with a stroll along the picturesque lakeside promenade before following the course of the San Giovanni stream to an oil mill.
It is then possible to make a detour into the Alto Garda Nature Park. Back in the Old Town of Limone we will then make a visit to long established lemon garden, before returning by boat to Torbole or Riva.

Day 3: Lake Molveno – a jewel at the foot of the Dolomites
Today we undertake a pleasant hike around beautiful Lake Molveno.
We make our way to the ruins of the Napoleonic Fortifications, which were constructed by the Austrians in order to hold back Napoleon Bonaparte, and then on to the fort huts. We then follow the path which leads to the waterfalls at the opposite end of the lake. Our hike then continues along the hilly southern shore of the lake, before the final stretch takes us back into Molveno passing en route over the Ponte di Bior bridge.

Day 4: Monte Baldo - the garden of Europe
Today we reach the lofty peak of Monte Baldo by the modern panoramic cable car. High on the plateau, we hike along footpaths with stunning Lake Garda glistening beneath us. Returning back by cable car, we end the day in the picturesque lakeside town of Malcesine.
Hiking time: 3 hours

Day 5: The ancient Ponale road and the Ledro Valley
Today we will enjoy a panoramic walk along the ancient Ponale road, which winds its way up from Riva del Garda through numerous small tunnels and a canyon to the Ledro Valley. We will then board a coach for the last part of the journey to Lake Ledro. The lake’s green-blue colour and breath-taking natural surroundings are captivating. Here the Foletto Family await you in their old apothecary which has been in business for more than a century. A fascinating tour introduces us to the world of the healing properties of plants and herbs and can show us how they produce cosmetic skin creams using the same methods and ingredients as originally used over a century ago – a wonderful experience. You can then try a fragrant herbal tea accompanied by home-made cake, finished off with a tasty liqueur.
